Everything this comparison tool runs on is one JSON file, and you can have it: vps-plans.json (90 plans, 23 providers). Fields: provider, plan, price (USD/mo), vcpu, ram (MB), storage (GB), disk type, bandwidth, locations, billing terms, and a per-row lastVerified date. The file opens with an embedded meta block (currency basis, methodology, license), so it stays self-describing outside this page. One thing worth spelling out: price is always USD; when a billing note mentions EUR, that is the same price tag in the provider's home currency, not a conflicting number.
How the numbers get here: prices are pulled from provider order pages or pricing APIs, not from press releases or other comparison sites. Each row carries its own verification date, and they are not all equal: Hetzner rows were re-checked against its public price API in August 2026, Contabo, DigitalOcean, and part of the Vultr lineup against their live pricing pages in July 2026, and the rest of the database dates to June 2026. Budget-host pricing shifts with promos, so treat any row older than a quarter as a starting point and confirm at checkout.
