Affiliate Disclosure
MaxHostZone participates in affiliate programs. This page explains, in plain terms, what that means for you.
What affiliate links are
Some links on this site, typically the "check plans" or provider-name links in our reviews and comparisons, are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for or purchase a service, MaxHostZone may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra; you pay the same price you would by going to the provider directly.
Which providers
We may earn commissions from hosting providers we review, including (but not limited to) RackNerd, Contabo, BuyVM, Netcup, GreenCloudVPS, Hetzner, and others, through their direct programs or affiliate networks. Not every provider we mention has an affiliate program, and we review and recommend providers regardless of whether they pay us.
Our commitment
- Affiliate relationships never change our assessments. Every criticism, caveat, and "avoid this" in our content stays in regardless of whether the provider has an affiliate program. We point out Contabo's disk throttle, RackNerd's burned IPs, and Netcup's support complaints even though we may earn from those same providers.
- We recommend against providers we could earn from when the data warrants it, and recommend providers we earn nothing from when they're the right answer.
- We don't rank by commission. Our rankings are based on track record, performance data, and fit-to-workload, never on who pays the most. See our methodology.
FTC compliance
In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines, we disclose that this site contains affiliate links and that we may be compensated for purchases made through them. This disclosure appears on relevant pages and here in full.
